In Jan 2009 Jay Solomon from London UK set on a journey to persue a dream, After working as a professional in the music business for over 10 years it was time for him to learn a new craft called acting.

For years Jay Solomon thought about acting and often told he should be one and then finally one afternoon in Jan 2009 he decided to go after it. He immediately joined Tim Kent’s world acclaimed The Actors Studio the NAME made famous by the Teacher Lee Strasberg who’s studio was based in New York and known for training greats such as De Niro and Pacino, Tim Kent’s Uk studios are based in Pinewood studios and various locations in London. After speaking to Tim and being put on to The Actors Studio by recommendation of a Top agent in London Jay decided to go along and threw himself straight into the deepend by attending a class and joining in with working actors and training with established teachers and casting directors. Although both passionate and fearful Jay Solomon had found his calling and was hooked, Within 10 weeks Jay was performing in showcases and digging deeper into the world of acting and displaying his emotions.

Following this JAY decided to push himself further and was given a contact of a one on one teacher called Philip Rosch who would take his confidence in acting to a next level.

They immediately went to work and Jay was put into many improvisation situations and given tough monologues to perform to the pleasant and positive reaction of Philip who doesn’t impress easily and wrote Jay a reference. Following this Jay attended another course aimed at Tv and Film with Tim’s Actor’s studio once again which would give Jay camera experience and again impressed teachers and casting directors with his ability to take direction well and read scripts off page.

Now feeling confident Jay didn’t want to hang around and wanted to get straight out there to castings and start the hard job of finding an agent, but was very fortunate to sign to an established agency in London almost immediatley who commented on his great look and believable acting skills, but Jay eventually deciding to settle on management as a better move with S1 Entertainment based at Pinewood Studios. Jay has used his passion to achieve results fast and in less than 1 year has become a professional actor with an established agent and is now gaining interest from many Major film studios and screenplay writers recently being called in to audition by Warner and Universal studios and scheduled meetings in Los Angeles (Hollywood).

Jay (is currently working with world acclaimed dialect coach Paul Meier on his American accent and) has played many characters and nationalities including Columbian, Cuban, Middle eastern, London and Asian, and come’s from an Asian/Italian background and was born in Hertford in Hertfordshire in the UK.
